My back yard has many feeders but birds often throw out seeds that are like tillers causing weeds. Does this bag go thin seed like this

Answer by ChewyMay 14, 2019
This bird food mix contains grain products (blend of milo and cut corn), white proso millet and black oil sunflower seeds.

Would this be a good chicken feed?

Answer by ChewyOct 31, 2018
This food is recommended for wild birds like finches, sparrows, juncos, cardinals, towhees, quail, doves, and buntings.

Is this a good choice for Northeast Ohio. I like to put seed out in the winter when the ground is frozen. I do live in an extremely rural area (surrounded by woods, fields and corn fields). If not what is the best blend of seed? Thank you.

Answer by ChewySep 17, 2018
This food is suitable for winter feeding.

I was looking for powderless bird food and this popped up (Audubon Park Wild Bird Food). Is it powderless? Thank you

Answer by ChewyFeb 26, 2019
None of their products are made with powder. Sometimes cracked corn or peanuts will create a powder-looking substance in the bag due to being shuffled around during shipping and handling.

We have 3 bird feeders in our back yard and we love our birds. This particular food is loved by all of our feathered friends. We have Cardinals, Robins, Mourning Doves, Sparrows, Woodpeckers, Blackbirds and Grackles. We have 2 Hummingbird feeders and about 6-7 Hummingbirds. We also feed 3 squirrels. We have Finches and Bluejays as well. We love our birds!!

Looks like decent quality seed

I picked this seed as it came up on Google as a good choice for birds in my area. The seed looks to be good quality (not dusty). No birds have been to the feeder

I picked this seed as it came up on Google as a good choice for birds in my area. The seed looks to be good quality (not dusty). No birds have been to the feeder since I put it up two weeks ago. Maybe they don’t like this seed? Maybe they haven’t found the feeder?

FIRST TIME I BUY THIS PRODUCT AND IT COMES WITH TOO MUCH CRACKED CORN, SO THE BIRDS TRY TO GET THE CORN OUT OF THE FEEDER AND THROW AWAY TOO MUCH FOOD, WHICH IS A WASTE. LET'S SAY THEY CONSUME A QUARTER OF THE BAG AND THE REST IS ON THE GROUND, WHICH JUST GOES IN THE TRASH. EVEN THOUGH THE PRICE IS REASONABLE, IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

one of the bags of seed had a gash in it. much of the seed was loose in the shipping box. we were able to tape the bag back together and get the loose seed back in that bag. however, this was the second time this has happened. the seed itself was fine. good prices. quick delivery. just the ripped bag was the problem. thanks!

Not sure why the birds don't like it

They're eating this, but much more slowly than the very similar bag I got from the grocery store. I haven't refilled my feeder in 2 weeks, and usually it's less

Not Much Sunflower Seed

I've been buying Lyric Wild bird seed. Thought I'd try something new, especially with lower price. Clearly lower price covers lower quality of seed. Miniscuel amounts

I've been buying Lyric Wild bird seed. Thought I'd try something new, especially with lower price. Clearly lower price covers lower quality of seed. Miniscuel amounts of sunflower and lots of rapeseed. Won't be choosing this brand again. If, on the other hand, you want to attract birds that like the tiny seeds, go for it.

This mix is about $5 cheaper than my usual Audubon Park Northeast blend but the birds did not like all the corn. Small pieces of corn is fine but they would not eat the corn kernels. I had to toss the corn to the ground for the other critters so I actually didn’t save any money since so much of the mix is corn. I recommend the Audubon Park regional mixes and I’ve recently discovered Kent/Blue Seal Song Maker bird food, which my birds love.
