Do you clean the filter or replace it? How often & where do you get replacement filters?

The filter can be cleaned. Remove the filter from the base and rinse. Do not wash the filter with soap. If the filter contains excess debris or other foreign matter, replace it. The Catit Triple Action Pet Fountain Filter is the replacement filter for this fountain.

Catit fountain replacement

My cat loves the fountain, but the small motor is dying. I ordered a similar one form Chewy, but it does not fit. Why did Catit not supply replacement for the motor,

My cat loves the fountain, but the small motor is dying. I ordered a similar one form Chewy, but it does not fit. Why did Catit not supply replacement for the motor, they have filter replacements. Other filters don't work-wasted money. Need to make this replacement ASAP. Not recommend due to this ONE problem.

Mine Has Chrome Insert

My Freddie absolutely loves his water fountain. I have noticed an increase in his water drinking which makes me so happy. Really easy to change sponge and filter

My cats love this! I don't think it truly works at 100 oz. It may hold that, but you can't fill it all the way and it stops working halfway down the container. This is why I only have it 4. Plus the filter doesn't stay in place for me. But my cats truly love it. I have a cat with kidney disease and appreciate anything that will increase her water intake. This helps!
