My cat Boo is 12 lbs, 9 years old and will not use any other Scratching post. He loved them, so I love them. Very easy to assemble. My only complaint would that

My cat Boo is 12 lbs, 9 years old and will not use any other Scratching post. He loved them, so I love them. Very easy to assemble. My only complaint would that where the cactus top meets the sisal post is right where the cat scratches, so it separates quickly and he is trying to scratch the heavy cardboard underneath it. If they could just reinforce that area it would be a awesome and get 5 stars. I also hope they offer the option of just buying the scratching post again. (You have to go thru the chat and request it.)
