Not quite tough enough for our heavy chewer

Duke loves chewing and tossing this toy. Unfortunately, he was able to bite off two chunks of one of the pretzel ends that stick out. He didn't swallow the pieces

Unfortunately, it was an epic fail

Purchased this for my 11 lb. mini poodle for her first birthday. It only lasted 5 minutes for her before she chewed pieces off. She is a chewer, and does destroy

Purchased this for my 11 lb. mini poodle for her first birthday. It only lasted 5 minutes for her before she chewed pieces off. She is a chewer, and does destroy most plush toys ~ but this toy stated on the Chew-o-meter, that is was for heavy chewers. Chewy, thank goodness refunded my money for this toy. I’m sure this toy would be fine for light chewers - actually my 3 yr old poodle, who is NOT a chewer, did fine with it. I will still search for another toy from Frisco for her ~ this time looking for “extreme” on the Chew-o-meter.

Solid rubber for heavy chewers

This definitely did not smell like peanut butter. Not one of my 3 dogs ever tried chewing on it and it has been sitting at the bottom of the toy basket for months,

This definitely did not smell like peanut butter. Not one of my 3 dogs ever tried chewing on it and it has been sitting at the bottom of the toy basket for months, untouched. I even tried washing it, thinking there was maybe an off-putting smell, but no one wants it. On the plus side, it is very sturdy and if a dog did chew on it, it looks to be durable. Styling is cute, too.

Great Toy, Bad Smell

While the toy is great and my pup enjoys it, the smell is awful. It is to smell as peanut butter, but the closest we can come to describe it is burning rubber. Pup

I am a very frequent user of Chewy. My pup loves to chew and play tug of war. I buy him Benebones and they only last for a few days. I was hoping this the Frisco chew toy would last longer, it didn’t. I gave it to my pup, used the restroom and when I came out, he already bit off a little more than a dime size of the toy. The piece was nowhere to be found so I assume he ate it. Very disappointed in this item.
