About Us
We are a 501(C)(3) spay/neuter organization in a small, rural county that has no shelter, no veterinarian, and no animal control. Our population of 12K people in 4500 households has a poverty rate that stays above 20%. We believe the best way to stop overpopulation is by spaying and neutering.
Since we started helping the animals of Jackson County, TN in 2016 we have surgically altered 2,600 cats and dogs and approximately 1,500 were TNR'd with over 100 of them brought into our sanctuary. We feed community cats and owned cats and dogs whose owners can't afford food for their pets.
Feral cats are provided food and shelter (usually on private property) and housing is provided for owned cats and dogs whenever we are contacted for help. Our sanctuary animals receive annual vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick control as well as vet visits when needed.
There is no income requirement to receive help of any kind. We strive to place adoptable animals into loving homes whenever possible.
