The Montgomery County Humane Society (MCHS) in Rockville, Md. is a 100% independent and privately-funded cat and dog rescue, with a no-kill mission to end animal homelessness.Every year, our team rescues more than 500 homeless cats and dogs from overcrowded public shelters and worse. We bring them to our rescue building and give them veterinary care, vaccinations and preventive treatments, socialization and spay/neuter surgeries. Then, we adopt them into new, loving homes.
