About Us
OPCA is a small but mighty all-volunteer nonprofit with one purpose: to change the story for poodles & poodle mixes who have known hardship. Every dog who comes to us receives more than shelter—they receive medical care, rehabilitation & daily attention to heal, for as long as they need us. We don’t make empty promises; we stay the course, no matter the road. We’re the ones still working with that same terrified dog long after the cameras are gone & donations have dried up. Our mission extends beyond our roof. We transform the lives of poodles in our care while championing accountability across rescue. We fund & support other rescues & insist on transparency.
