It is safe for a pet to wear Happy Hoodie throughout the night as there is no time limit for how long a dog can wear Happy Hoodie. It is a beneficial safety aspect that if a pet really wants to remove Happy Hoodie, they usually can do so by shaking or pawing it off (and it can take a lot of effort for some); however, we still recommend that pets are not left unattended while wearing Happy Hoodie.

He's powerless without his ears!

I own a handsome 100lb Anatolian Shepherd mix who is well trained, but if he chooses to not take a bath there's little I can do to stop him. Without his ears though

I own a handsome 100lb Anatolian Shepherd mix who is well trained, but if he chooses to not take a bath there's little I can do to stop him. Without his ears though he's like puddy in my hands. I've been using one of these since he was about 2 years old (he's 8 now) and it's night and day difference getting his bathed and blow dried. He no longer tries to escape and we leave it on while the techs do his nail trim and he's perfectly behaved for them. Added bonus he looks adorably sadden that he doesn't have ears and gets super excited when I give him his ears back.

It seems to be good quality and Kringle didn’t mind wearing it. It didn’t help his issue but I am absolutely keeping it to try with another pet should the occasion arise.

Unfortunately our dogs behavior changed almost instantly when we put the hood on her. She's a 7 year old Yorkie/Bison mix. She thinks she's a gangster now. She started stealing and sneaks up on us now and nips at our ankles. We can't get near enough to remove it. Any ideas or professional advice would be greatly appreciated.

My guy is very nervous when it thunders. A friend of mine had tried this, so I thought I would see if it worked. I was surprised he let me put it on him as he usually resists anything except a collar. I waited until we had a storm and gave it a try. He did seem much calmer. The next time a storm was coming in, he was wagging his tail when I picked it up - so he obviously liked it. Real test will be for fireworks.

Great idea but material doesn’t hold up well

I love this product but it is already coming apart and looks rough. It still works, but it didn’t handle getting washed well and there are a lot of threads coming

Must request a return- daughters vet will not allow her to use Hoody because 3 yo Doberman has had her ears trimmed ...(well healed, about a year ago or more ) He feels potential for cartilage displacement overrides possible calm effect. She does do VERY well with her new Thundershirt.....was pacing and pacing for first hour and then daughter found her fast asleep next to her basket !!!

Crazy but it seems to work

Our 85lb hound is shaking-scared of fireworks and thunder and will try to get on the bed. I think he acts a bit put upon wearing this. It’s not his favorite and he acts like more of an awkward clown than usual. His ears are ginormous so we have to tuck them in carefully but he got through the 4th of July mostly laying on the bed. It either distracts him or muffles them enough that he doesn’t seem scared. Weathered a few nights of fireworks and thunderstorms so far and it’s a keeper. May keep things a little warm and yeasty in his years so he wont keep it on longer than necessary but I’m pleasantly surprised and how this helped him.

We used the ThunderShirt and the Happy Hoodie during July 4th for our very anxious 100lb dog. He was so much better with the Hoodie and the ThunderShirt than he was without it last year. Although he was quite embarrassed by his appearance when he had the Hoodie on because my kids were making fun of him! He tried to shake the Hoodie off but it stayed on most of the time and it worked well. I would say to buy it on the smaller side to make sure it doesn't come off when they shake their heads.

She is a german shepherd that came to me pretty much feral, I;ve been working with her a little over a year & she has come a long way but storms and fire works frighten her so I thought the Hoodie might comfort herbut in her case it made her uncomfortable.
