How long is it effective after adding when pets have been drinking out of it? Does it still continue to work after tongues have been in the water bowl?

Effectiveness: I change my pet's water twice daily. So, based on my routine, 12 hours. Tongues in the water: yes it continues to work. My pet occasionally sneezes after lapping water. Her sneezes didn't seem to affect the solution's effectiveness! Her dental hygiene continued to improve even after getting water up her nose. :)

I ordered this for my dog after we started lovingly referring to him as “garbage breath.” His breath was so bad, and even though we brush a couple times a week and give him dental chews, it was rough. I was nervous because some of the reviews said their pets wouldn’t drink the water or worse, that it made their pets sick - but we have had no issues with any of that! My dog has a sensitive stomach so we started with about half the recommended dose for a few days before increasing to the full amount. He hasn’t seemed to notice, but we sure have! The other day I leaned in and took a big sniff right from his mouth (for science) - and I couldn’t smell anything at all! Such a game changer. We’re curious to see what our vet says about his tartar too! He doesn’t usually have too much, but it would be great if this helps minimize that as well. We will definitely be buying this again!

Since using this product, my dog doesn't have bad breath as he did before. Unfortunately his teeth have already yellowed (age 14) but a friend who recommended this

Upset my kitties stomachs

I was using this for a while at the amount recommended for sensitive pets, and my cats were having frequent digestive issues (mostly more vomiting than normal)

I was using this for a while at the amount recommended for sensitive pets, and my cats were having frequent digestive issues (mostly more vomiting than normal). I didn’t consider this additive as a potential culprit, but a friend who used it for her cat was having similar issues so I tried just giving my cats normal water and their tummy issues appear to have resolved. I’m sure plenty of cats can drink this no problem but it seemed to upset my cats stomachs..

My vet suggested adding this product to my pets drinking water after a dental cleaning. I was told it would help control tartar buildup on their teeth. Since one of my dogs is sensitive to anesthesia I decided to give it a try. It really works! My dogs don’t have bad breath. It even worked on my grand-dogs who stayed with us while their home was being renovated. Within a week they too no longer had bad breath.

Happier pet owners when in close proximity to our pets!

I wasn't certain of how well this product worked for our two elderly animals (cat, dog) until we ran out of the product and had to go without for a week or so.

I wasn't certain of how well this product worked for our two elderly animals (cat, dog) until we ran out of the product and had to go without for a week or so. Let me tell you, the animal's breath did not smell good without this simple additive to their shared water bowl! The product works and we do not go without this any more!
