Help Treat the Fear of Sound With Sileo

Sileo is the first FDA-approved treatment for dogs that suffer from a serious condition called noise aversion. Prescribed by your Veterinarian, Sileo helps calm your dog when frightened by loud noises without making them drowsy. Sileo is ideal for events like fireworks, thunder, or construction noise, and everyday noises like vacuums and lawn equipment. It is designed to be used at home—where you and your dog need it most.

Easy to Administer and Works Quickly

Sileo is given orally in an easy-to-administer gel and goes to work fast. It begins to take effect in as little as 30 minutes and can last for 2–3 hours, offering a timely and reliable way to ease your dog’s response to noise. There is no need for daily medication. It is clinically demonstrated to work without other treatments or training.[1]

Stop the Noise Monsters

Noise aversion affects roughly two out of three dogs. Sileo helps calm your dog when frightened by loud noises without making them drowsy. It's ideal for events like fireworks, thunder, or construction noise, and is designed to be used at home—where you and your dog need it most.

My dog is terrified of loud noises like fireworks and thunderstorms. This product works within 30 minutes and calms her down quickly. Additional doses can be given every 2 hours if needed. So far one dose has done the trick. No more shaking uncontrollably and hiding. She is still alert but the noise doesn’t seem to bother her. So glad my vet prescribed. Miracle product

Great customer service

Through no fault of Chewy, our order went missing when FedEx delivered it to the wrong address and left it out on the road under a mailbox that wasn’t even ours

Through no fault of Chewy, our order went missing when FedEx delivered it to the wrong address and left it out on the road under a mailbox that wasn’t even ours. Unfortunately, the package disappeared. Chewy’s customer service stepped right in and had a replacement order on the way immediately. I received the new shipment in just 2 days! Their quick response and care made a frustrating situation so much easier. Thank you, Chewy, for standing behind your service and taking care of us.

Med works great but I have it a 4 star because it's difficult to put on my big bullies top gums. Yeah really difficult application, but med is appreciated as it's immensely helped him through this hurricane season. Oh, also it'd be helpful if it could be priced a little lower. More affordable then my vet's pharmacy but still Ruff on my budget. Albeit costly, worth every dollar for my baby's comfort!

Sileo has been a lifesaver for our pup. She is terrified of thunder storms. Sileo is fast acting (takes about 20 mins to kick in and full effect after about an hour) and reduces her anxiety reaction by about 80%. It’s easy to use by putting the syringe into her mouth by her cheek and just pressing the plunger. Each syringe is enough for six doses with our 20 lb dog. We’ve tried other drugs like trazadone, but it’s not as effective and takes much longer to kick in.

I really wanted this to work for my adult dog's sudden onset storm anxiety/noise aversion. Unfortunately, it barely took the edge off. I may have kept at it to see if result improved if it wasn't a pain to administer. It must taste really really bad. Applying it to the mouth wasn't difficult the first time but boy did my dog remember just how bad it tasted and subsequent doses were difficult. We had previously tried trials of several different CBD products, Composure Pro, other herbal supplements (passionflower/valerian/chamomile, etc.) , and Trazodone. Trazodone specifically, caused anxiety and agitation for 2 hours prior to him being really dopey and hungover for 12+ hours, although I know this reaction is atypical. My boy has paradoxical reactions to several medications. I was pleased the Sileo did not make him groggy or heavily sedated. It just didn't do quite enough for him. The dosing for 70 pounds was getting quite expensive during storm and fireworks season. He has since had good result with Alprazolam.

This is the first dog we've had that is frightened of fireworks. Very frightened. This medication, in combination with a constant noise distraction of war sounds on YouTube, helps keep him relatively calm. He still gets a bit freaked out because our neighbors always have the big loud illegal fireworks, but this helps better than anything else we've tried. Kind of makes him tired I'd say.

We have tried many different medications with no help. FINALLY, a solution! Luna is absolutely inconsolable with fireworks, thunder/lightening, loud noises. She has injured herself and it is absolutely heartbreaking. We have administered this medication twice so far and it is only thing that has ever worked!!!

Our dog has been scared senseless of fireworks, gunshots, and thunder for 10 years. Her behavior includes incessant, running and panting. I found Sileo on Chewy and decided to give it a try. I told my Vet to be ready to provide a prescription when Chewy calls. Within 30 minutes of the first dose my dog was willing to lie on the couch under a blanket next to me instead of running in panic. In subsequent days as the thunderstorms continued, the medicine seemed to work more quickly. It will wear off after a while, but additional doses may be administered. I have also noticed that since she has been using this medicine, she has not been as initially terrified if unexpected thunder happens.

Our poor baby gets extremely anxious when a thunderstorm occurs. Here in Central Florida, we are in our “rainy season”. Thunderstorms are occurring daily. We have tried several things to help calm him but this has worked better than any of the others. So glad the Vet suggested it. My daughter is going to ask her Vet for a trial for her dog, who really does go nuts (non stop barking!).
