Does it lose its potency over time? We have a five gallon water dispenser and we refill it every few days for our Danes.

This supplement would still be potent if using the same day. It's uniquely designed to clean teeth, freshen breath for 12 hours, and promote complete pet wellness.

Is this safe for cats as well?

TropiClean makes several Fresh Breath Solutions for dogs and a different solution for cats. Although they have similar ingredients, the concentrations of some of the ingredients in the dog versions are higher. Due to this, it is possible (although uncommon) that some cats may see an increased potential of a sensitive reaction drinking the higher concentrated version. Symptoms of sensitivity are usually mild and gastrointestinal in nature. Use of the dog version with cats is at the owner’s discretion.

So you are saying that the bowl of water must be changed and new additive added every day? I have a water bowl with a bottle that empties weekly. Would I have to stop using that?

Depending on how many ounces of water your pet's bowl is, add the appropriate amount of Fresh Breath Water Additive. The water will not need to be changed every day. Please note that fountains with filters may reduce the potency of the product.

How long should it take to see a difference?

Your pet's breath will be fresher within the first hour and then up to 12 hours after drinking the water with the additive. Depending on the stage of your pet's dental and physical health, results may vary in when you see healthier teeth or stronger hips and joints.

Better for us than brushing teeth!

This product works. We ran out of this and I saw tarter building up on our 12 year old poodle’s back teeth. I purchased more and in a week saw a drastic difference

This product works. We ran out of this and I saw tarter building up on our 12 year old poodle’s back teeth. I purchased more and in a week saw a drastic difference. Our vet has complemented our poodle’s teeth saying they are beautiful and usually poodles have a lot of build up tarter. Our picky poodle has no problem drinking her treated water but I do give her freshly treated water almost at least I try, daily. The bottle has a flip top squirt lid which I use for a squirt instead of measuring.

Corn?

I love this brand and I normally use it for my dogs water however, as I was looking up the ingredients they use corn as glucosamine. I have never seen a product

I love this brand and I normally use it for my dogs water however, as I was looking up the ingredients they use corn as glucosamine. I have never seen a product use corn for hip and joint. Caused my dogs to break out in less than two days. I would stick with the other ones. There’s much better ingredients to deprive glucosamine from than corn if your dog is allergic or not.
