is there a medical difference between GlycoFlex plus an GlycoFlex 3?

Both formulas have the same levels of Glucosamine and MSM. The VetriScience GlycoFlex Plus Joint Support Bite-Sized Dog Chews have added Chondroitin for pets who may benefit more from it.

Both products are proven a 41% increase in hind leg strength in just 4 weeks, but the VetriScience GlycoFlex Stage III is geared more towards seniors. VetriScience GlycoFlex Stage III is also recommended for dogs with a maximum need for joint and connective tissue support, joint and connective tissue support, geriatric and working dogs as well as to support normal recovery after orthopedic surgery.

is there a shelf life for opened and.or unopened packages of Glycoflex III

The expiration date is located next to the lot number on all of VetriScience's products. On the bags, it will be on the back and looks like it came from a dot matrix printer. The lot number is 8 digits long, then a space, then 4 more digits indicating month and year.

I have an 8 yr old labradoodle with right front leg pain. He limps occasionally and is slow to get up. He also needs grain-free food. He has digestion problems. Will this product upset his stomach?

These Chews are grain free. If your pet has a sensitive stomach you could always start gradually to see if they have any issue. This product should work well for them and help with joint discomfort.

Francis has always had a lameness/stiffness after exercise when he gets up from resting, that normally clears in a day or two, but this last time it did not want to clear up, after a few weeks we Started glycoflex at the 2 chews twice daily for a month and then went to 1 chew twice daily. Besides the fact that he loves them (and was disappointed at the lower dosage) we saw results at about three weeks in. I should have started him sooner.

Our 8-year-old Aussie seemed to take a little longer to get moving. It was clear her joints were starting to feel age. We started giving her these treats about a year ago - she loves them! In addition, we have not noticed the stiff movement upon getting up in the morning or following a nap. Even after a couple of rather active days, she does not seem to be bothered by the same joint discomfort. At 40lbs, she gets one treat every morning with her breakfast. We did give her two treats per day for the first two months, per instructions on the package. We will continue using these for her!
