Does this test measure Coefficient of Inbreeding (COI) ?

Hi couple of weeks ago I sent out my dog’s test but I didn’t save the website information I think it was wisdom panel I bought it from Chewy, my question is do I get the results from Email or regular mail because I don’t know where to look. Thank you

Wisdom Panel emails you when your results are in, usually 2-3 weeks after you mail the sample

I would like to know exactly what my mixed breed puppy is down to percentages, will this test good be me a breakdown of all his breeds?

I have four dogs in one house. Does this test require the dog being tested drink from a separate water bowl than the rest of the dogs? And if so, for how long will I need to keep her separate from drinking after them to make sure her sample isn’t contaminated?

We recommend waiting at least an hour after the pup has eaten, shared a water bowl, or shared a toy with another dog before swabbing, in order to ensure that the sample is not contaminated. Additionally, we advise separating the dogs during this time.

I ordered this as a present to my parents dog Panda who we primarily thought was poodle, turns out he's mostly shitzu and a variety of other breeds with a low percentage

I ordered this as a present to my parents dog Panda who we primarily thought was poodle, turns out he's mostly shitzu and a variety of other breeds with a low percentage of poodle. It was great finding out more of his history and it puts into perspective his genetic dispositions, physical attributions and behaviors. It was easy to swab and send in the samples and it took about two weeks to get results. This is one of the higher accuracy DNA tests and it's well worth it. Knowing a dogs genetics can help you shape your training to better suit them. I'd get this as a gift again for other friends and family members with mixed breed dogs.

We adopted a mixed breed from the shelter and chose Wisdom Panel because it is the one the animal shelter uses and many vets recommend I read. I gave them no info about our dog and no picture. They were spot on with her DNA discoveries as far as physical characteristics and personality. She has 12 breeds in her DNA! She is a little over half Chihuahua and 18% Shih Zu, and a little bit of the rest of the 10 other breeds. Pretty amazing! I am very pleased with this purchase and we found out her breeds in 2 weeks time!

Not sure I believe the results

Results came back that our rescuer is a purebred Labrador Retriever. However, she doesn’t really look like one, and we have another pure bred retriever in the house

The results are in!

Results are in, Kevin is a PomChi! I bought 2 for 2 dogs but only 1 would let us swab the mouth. The other is still pending. I also bought one years ago for a senior dog that unfortunately has since passed but surprised with the results! It’s so exciting to get the results of your adopted shelter pup! The results also included a distant relative connection. I thought that was so cute! Just be sure to follow directions on filling everything out when sending back. I forgot to record information for tracking but the company somehow magically located our swab. I think it’s great to know the breed to help with any health issues they may have due to their breeds. Highly recommend.

I always had a feeling my pup was a unique blend, but I never could’ve guessed just how many breeds were in the mix. Turns out, they’re part American Staffordshire Terrier, Pit Bull, Great Pyrenees, Australian Cattle Dog, and even a little bit of Chow Chow and Chihuahua! So blue eyes must have cane from Australian cattle dog.

Chewy stood behind warranty - even though manufacturer should have

I wish I remembered customer service who helped me. Wisdom panel ran me through hoops but I called Chewy, (who I originally ordered this product from). Chewy

I wish I remembered customer service who helped me. Wisdom panel ran me through hoops but I called Chewy, (who I originally ordered this product from). Chewy didnt have to but they ended up replacing Wisdom Panel even though replacement should have been on Wisdom Panel. Chewy really stands with the customer. Just as important customer service listened and helped me. So much time I wasted with Wisdom Panel. I'm going to order with Chewy when it comes to pets.
