Worked as intended

Our young, high energy lab gets anxious on long drives. Just wanted her to chill out not act like she was drugged. These worked for the two long drives (3.5 hrs) we’ve tried them with so far. I’m not really sure how long they would last. She was ready to play as usual at the end of those drives. Second drive was even better than the first. She was chill and didn’t act like she was going to hyperventilate. She ate them like a treat the first time we gave it. But then did not want to eat them the second time. (She’s a picky eater so probably nothing wrong with its taste) worth trying for an anxious car riding pup.

I bought this because my dog is a basket case each week when I have to take her on the ferry. Just as I was about to give her one, I noticed Magnesium Citrate as

I bought this because my dog is a basket case each week when I have to take her on the ferry. Just as I was about to give her one, I noticed Magnesium Citrate as an ingredient. That has laxative effects and the last thing I need is my dog pooping all over the house or all over the ferry. The next vet visit I'll ask my vet, but until then, I'm not giving it to her. Not sure why it's a necessary ingredient in a calming chew.

Worked shockingly well

We’ve tried two prescription anti-anxiety meds for our 10 year old dogs anxiety related barking and restlessness in the evening and overnight. Neither had the effect

We’ve tried two prescription anti-anxiety meds for our 10 year old dogs anxiety related barking and restlessness in the evening and overnight. Neither had the effect we were hoping for, one zonked her out all day and the other helped her sleep but made the barking worse. We decided to try this on a “it can’t hurt” effort and wow! It’s been a game changer. She’s 60 lbs and so we give her one right as we come in the door from school pick up and then one at bed and she is so much better in the evenings and at night, while being her normal self during the day. Even our vet was surprised by the change.

Perfect for anxious and over excited dogs

I’ve been getting these for a few years now for my big boy who is giant chicken (swiffers are very scary) and can get really worked up over some things. I find them to be very helpful and calming for him without having to go the drug route with the vet. Perfect for vet appointments if you have a dog that isn’t very fond of them. I also use it on my little girl who has a very high prey drive and is still in training. It keeps her from the wrath of her bigger brother and sister that grow tired of having their ears bitten. A container lasts me a good 6 months or longer and that’s with 3 dogs. Zesty is a product I trust and have had no issues even with my boy who has a sensitive tummy. Highly recommend.
