How long does the effect of the chews last given to them daily?

Can these be given once in a while or do they need to be given every day for them to have a "cumulative effect" like some other calming chews?

Seems helpful (at times)

As the Mama of two very hyperactive puppies, I've been on the hunt for safe calming products since they've arrived home. These chews are easy for my food-motivated pup to take, I frequently apply a bit of peanut butter to my other pup's chew. It takes about 45-60 mins to see a slight change in activity. It seems to be helping them sleep better (I give it in the evening). It's been over two weeks of daily administration and they are settling into a nicer bedtime routine. I can't say I've noticed a huge difference in daytime functioning, they're still very wild boys feeding off of each other's 'puppy energy'! If you're desperately seeking non-rx solutions to puppy 'mania,' this product is worth trying (in my opinion).

My Border Collie Emma gets very nervous with rain and thunder storms. Some times it is a passing storm that will be done within the hour or so on a summer afternoon

My Border Collie Emma gets very nervous with rain and thunder storms. Some times it is a passing storm that will be done within the hour or so on a summer afternoon and I can give her two of these at the very beginning of the rain/thunder. She has RX Medicene for day long weather events or fireworks which I don’t like to give her unless truly needed for higher anxiety. These Zesty Paws calming chews help her get through a short storm.

We have always used the orange container zesty paws but in July decided to try this one with the hemp extract. It made them much more calm, no whining like before

These are ok.

We have two breeds that are on the hyper side so its kind of hit or miss with calming treats. Sometimes they work and sometimes not. I am thinking its more the dogs
