Maybe? It might be worth a try. When dogs frantically eat large amounts of grass, it usually means an upset stomach or other indigestion. But if this does not work, you need to talk to your vet. Chronic indigestion is not only uncomfortable for your dog, but can also escalate to bloat, which can become a life-threatening emergency for a dog. So it's important to get down to the root cause. Good luck!

Reviewers report that the ingredients were changed and this was not disclosed by the manufacturer. Some say that it is not helping their dogs GI or having negative effects. Lately, I noted it seems to not be helping my dog as it used to. Did ingredients change? Any others note a change in dogs?

They changed the ingredients and the bacteria strains with no notice. My dog wont eat these, either because of the recipe and the lack of the powder flavor on the outside or she can smell that they have different bacteria in them. I'm not sure. But this is unacceptable and now i have to try and reorder the same one and hope i get an old one or find a new probiotic and hope she likes it and works good for her. Now shes gonna be out for a few days while something gets here and will probably have a stomachache. Thanks.

I have to break it up for her to eat and cojole her into it. I'm surprised because the peanut butter calming bites she just eats up. Wish these came in peanut butter. The Peanut butter don't stale as fast. But they do the job. Her breath is way better and she doesn't have a bad tummy hardly ever any more.

Four cases in f dog food which were all rolling around and dented up with such a flimsy box. I had heard d so much about Chewy so went back to giving them a try. I bought this product over the one that we were using because it was nasc certified. When I opened this product it smelled terrible. After lots of tricks I finally got our 2 pets to take the probiotics. Within a few days one had terrible diarrhea and the other began throwing up and had terrible gas. We stopped this probiotic and ordered our previous one and everything is back to normal. I would not recommend this product.

Among the many other benefits of this product, it worked quickly to help get control over a persistent mild yeast overgrowth in my dog's ears and paws. We had been medicating and cleansing her ears for over a month when I decided to try this product. After her second (expensive! ) bottle of eardrops were gone, I decided to try this probiotic product to see if it could help. Within only two weeks, the redness and puffiness has subsided and she's finally not shaking her head and scratching at her ears anymore. I highly recommend this product.

When I received this, the box was exceptionally hot, as if it had been left in a hot car. So I wondered if that had any negative impact on the life cultures. I did

When I received this, the box was exceptionally hot, as if it had been left in a hot car. So I wondered if that had any negative impact on the life cultures. I did a quick test, mixing one of the chews with a few tablespoons of milk and put in my proofing oven. For comparison, I took a probiotic capsule I’d bought elsewhere and put in another container with milk. After 12 hours, there was a huge difference. The probiotic from a local store had started curdling the milk so the cultures were clearly active. The milk with Zesty Paws showed no change whatsoever. That confirmed the cultures were dead or inactive. Don’t know if it’s the brand, or mishandling during shipping but I won’t be buying this again.

I love being able to offer a "treat" to my dog as an alternative to a food mix-in. He lives for treats and has a sensitive stomach so we are limited on options. These pumpkin bites are soft, smell great and we divide the daily dosage into two "treats". His stomach is happy and so are we!
